Sierra Foothills Flights will take place at the beautiful Miraflores Winery outside of the charming hamlet of Placerville in El Dorado County.

  • 2:00 – 2:45 Vineyard TourZAP Heritage Club Exclusive
    Join Miraflores Winery proprietor Victor Alvarez, who will take you on a tour of the estate vineyard and learn about the influences that have contributed to the winery’s focus on quality from grapes to glass

  • 3:00 - 5:00 Seminar
    The flights will explore the beauty of old vines, compare the nuances of various high elevation vineyard sites, and contrast past and current vintages. The lively panel discussion will be moderated by Rick Kushman.

  • 5:00 - 6:00 Walk-about Tasting
    Take-in the ambiance of this exceptional high-elevation wine country destination at this informal walk-about tasting as you continue to rub shoulders with the winemakers, who share their stores and passion for Zinfandel.

  • 6:00 - 8:00 Dinner
    Indulge your senses and savor the flavors of an inspired dinner created to showcase the wines of the day and sit down at a table with one of our presenting winemakers or owners who serve as your table hosts for the evening.
