Historic Carignane Vineyard Preservation Threatened By Dutch Slough Restoration Project
If one of your local Carnegie museums was being leveled, how would you feel? Or how about a favorite local landmark or family store that had stood for generations? Historic vineyards are testaments to California's wine heritage and part of our mission is to help bring awareness to these vineyards when they are in danger.

One such vineyard is the Oakley Carignone Vineyard. Why are we bringing attention to a Carignone Vineyard? Carignone and Zinfandel are closely interrelated with Carignone being a common blending grape for many Zinfandels. They've grown side-by-side for over 100 years and, as such, we feel it appropriate to champion their cause.

The Oakley Vineyard is currently being targeted by the Dutch Slough Restoration Project. You can read more about the project and the reasons to save the vineyard by
