Prepare to unmask your passion for Zinfandel! Enjoy the company of leading Zinfandel winemakers in an elegant atmosphere.
Your evening begins in the elegant St Francis Grand Ballroom with a reception and tasting featuring Zinfandels from the winemaker hosts, an unveiling and first taste of the 2007 Heritage Vineyard Zinfandel, and a luscious array of hors d’œuvres, artisan cheeses, pates, and other nibbles courtesy of iGourmet.com !
Reality and illusion merge as our very own Doug Beckett of Peachy Canyon Winery and Zinfandel grape grower Doug Filipponi masquerade as our auctioneers…you never know when another surprise will be unveiled! This is your exclusive opportunity to show your passion for one-of-a-kind Zinfandel Experiences and incredible auction packages—combining wine, art, travel, and interactive winemaking!
The enchanting evening continues as the procession flows into the opulent Colonial Room for a gourmet dinner paired with Zinfandels personally selected by the winemakers. While you enjoy your exquisite cuisine, you will have the opportunity to sit back, unmask, and listen to the coveted inside ZIN scoop from your Host Winemaker!

Yes. Proceeds from the
Live Auction
and the
Silent Auction
benefit ZAP's Heritage Projects--preserving the historical and viticultural significance of America's Heritage Wine--Zinfandel, including scholarships and other designated charities.

VIP Packages Available

No. Tickets to this event are sold in advance.

Can I reserve an entire table?
Yes, for up to eight people. Once you have purchased your tickets, please complete the registration form and submit via FAX to the ZAP office at: 530-274-4904.
Can I reserve a particular winery host to sit at my table?
No. Guests will be seated at winery tables based on random selections. Refer to listing of participating wineries on this page. Please check back for updates. Participating wineries are subject to change.
How do I dress for the event?
ZAP encourages festive attire. The St. Francis Hotel at Union Square has an opulent decor reminiscent of a bygone era, sophisticated yet welcoming. Make this an evening to remember!
Is there a Live and Silent Auction?
An abundance of riches awaits winning bidders. There will be approximately 25 live auction lots featuring lifestyle packages and one-of-a-kind offerings.
The Silent Auction will take place during the Saturday Tasting at the back of the Festival Pavilion.
