Our first Perkins Harter vintages are 80-15-5% blends of Old Vine Zinfandel from 126 year old vines, Petite Sirah from 70 year old vines, and youthful Syrah from the Dry Creek. These very small production wines are made at the Vineyard of Pasterick, where I live year-round with my husband, Peter Harter, and our trusty wine dog, Pork Chop.
We believe the blending of grapes varieties from one place achieves not only a unique expression in wine, but that it fully celebrates a place where one lives and works. The inaugural release of our 2012 “The Weight” Old Vine ZInfandel is our invitation for you to experience an impression of a place we call home.
